Hello, my Steem friends. I trust your day is going on well. Mine is cool too. I wish to share with you my feeding habit with my hamsters.
If you are a hamster owner like me, you would like to know what food I feed my hamsters with and keep them ever happy and healthy.
I will tell you what food I give my hamsters, how I feed them and the benefit of my feeding method.
First all, I would like to remind you that your little hamster pet is naturally a food hoarder. As a result of your anxiety to keep him fit always, if you are not careful, you may be overseeing him.
But enough supply of vegetables, dry and fresh food should keep your lovely pet always happy.
I FEED MY HAMSTERS WITH DRY FOOD
I give my hamsters both dry and fresh food in combination. Mostly, I feed them with pellets. Pellets are rich in vitamins—the very nutrients hamsters mostly need.
Another advantage of feeding my pets with dry food or pellets is that these food items hardly spoil. So I can feed them to my pets more than a day.
Remember that hamsters are not heavy eaters. So I give my pets only 1 teaspoon of dry food on a daily basis. That quantity gives them the amount of calories they need to stay healthy for me and to stay fit.

I FEED MY HAMSTERS WITH FRESH FOOD
Along with pellets, I feed my hamsters with fresh fruits and vegetables. I balance their diets by giving them a small slice of fruit, a baby carrot or a quarter-leaf of lettuce. These I give them in small amounts to stop them from depending so much on dry food or getting them wasted.
