Why is a Dog so damn Happy???

Who would not want to be a dog? Dogs are adorable, cute, fun and always happy. Why is that we as humans ask?? Now lets compare just the 1st part of the day with a dogs life shall we. Well instead of an alarm clock going off at 5am to a loud beep, beep & beep- having to warm up a cold cup of coffee that was sitting in the pot from yesterday- not being able to find what kind of clothes to wear and understanding that you have failed to pack your lunch for the day, realizing your gas tank in your car is on empty and forgetting that you have a quarterly review at 8:00am meeting with your Boss, now you just dripped coffee on your white shirt while driving thru a construction zone that just put down fresh oil that is now getting all over your freshly washed car. Not too mention your speeding and that damn motorcycle cop just pulled you over to give you $180 ticket as it was in a construction zone. Now your really screwed because your going to be late for your review, thus no raise. A Dogs life is much different. You say why are they always so damn happy?? Well here is a start: They have no alarm clock- instead they bark waking your ass up telling you to get their food ready, jumping on the side of the bed licking your hand. They cannot decide if they need to eat or shit first, so they bark asking for assistance from you. Now they get fresh food just out of a can, yummy I cannot wait. They have no worries just slobbering into their food dish stuffing there faces with breakfast. Now they (Dogs ask themselves) should I go lay down on my bed, get my ball to play with, have my owner rub my belly or oh shit forgot maybe I should go poop and pee outside so my owner can clean it up? No that can wait - I think I will simple lay down and let my food settle here on my new Costco bed my lovely owner just bought me. Oh wow that food was good- maybe now I can ask for a cookie/treat from my great owner.. I think I will bark over and over will get me that yummy treat. Ok its time to unload.. yes now my owner gets to bring out his gloves, bag and pick up my mess LOL.. I think I will play now for a bit hey lets play ball- oh no your going to that cubicle inside that dark building with no windows again :( well its ok I will be here to lick you when you get home so no worries. Well let me think about what I can get into today -that new bone sounds fun to chew on -but should I be bad?? Maybe chewing on the leg of the table would be more fun, or yes pooping on the floor later will get me some much needed attention. Well that is a hard one.. Ok nap time for now - as Dog Man well be talking again soon!
