Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Chronicles 20:15 (KJV), And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

In this life, there are people who might set themselves to fight you but in doing so, they set themselves to fight God. And they cannot fight God and win.

God owns your battles. Because he owns your battles, he instructs you thus; “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you…” (2 Chronicles 20:17).

The prophet Isaiah explains the futility of any man that dares to fight against God. He says, “Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together (Isaiah 31:3).

You are the anointed of God. When he said, “touch not the Lord’s anointed,” (Psalms 105:15) it was not a piece of advice, it was a warning.

God has owned your battle, find rest.

GOLDEN NUGGET: God owns your battles, find Rest.

PRAYER: Father I thank you because victory belongs to you. I am a rested spirit because my battles are yours to fight. No weapon fashioned against me can prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgment has been condemned. By this testimony, I have overcome the world and every plan of the enemy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

It is important for us to remember that everything belongs to the Lord. Therefore, when we undergo trouble, we should give it to God and let Him fight for us. We need only be still.

I post a verse every day as well as a part of my Verse Of The Day campaign and would love to have your feedback on the posts.
