Today, there are no Pharaohs in Egypt, as the country has shifted to a republican form of government since the Egyptian Revolution in 1952. However, the role of the kings of ancient Egypt has had an impact on the modern system of government, as many of the concepts inherited from those times are still relevant to date. For example, the powers of the current Egyptian president are relatively strong, and he has a great deal of authority in making political and economic decisions. In addition, the Egyptian people still uphold the values and traditions of the past, and the architecture and culture of ancient Egypt are still popular tourist attractions around the world.
Overall, the Pharaohs of the past had a profound influence on Egyptian history and culture, and still continue to have an impact on Egyptian society and government today. Even though there are no more Pharaohs ruling Egypt, their historical heritage is still valued and studied today.
