On March 17th, my friends and I were lucky enough to have an interview session with the one and only Tony Guerra at the American Pharmacist Associations annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. My friends and I are part of a very special program that is unique to the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy called the Walker Leadership Program. This is a personalized leadership development program that focuses on your personal growth and helps equip you with the necessary skills to be an effective leader in and outside of the profession of pharmacy. During the podcast, we were able to speak to Tony about our unique program, our interests in pharmacy, and our take on leadership within our profession. Follow the link below to hear more!
Featured in this stellar Podcast:
First at bat, Hanna Murray!
Hanna drops some key knowledge on us about what our leadership development program is and how she has used the skills obtained to further herself from the average pharmacy student.
Next up is me......
I may not be speaking about the most interesting topic to most in the world, but hey someone's gotta do it and it's something I have a great passion for. Healthcare Technology is the future whether people want to believe it or not..... That being said just give the cast a listen and forgive me if I misspoke on any subject.\
Last, but definitely not least Meg Freiter!
Meg is a year ahead of Hanna and I and is someone that we both look up to for a variety of reasons. Meg speaks about how she was able to obtain quite a few prestigious rotations for her upcoming P4 year. She is the hardest working individual at our college and deserves the utmost respect... that being said, it's the highlight of my day to rip on her on the reg.
