Well Steve Jobs had no degree and he is still influential several years after his death. So I understand your scepticism. However, higher education such as MSc or PhD is a big opportunity to learn may things. I wrote here about how earning a PhD changes you and also here about the fun part of making a PhD and in general about my life as a PhD student. I believe it is a great experience and it also teaches you a lot of things. For sure helps you grow a lot, professionally and as a human being.

I will check that out. I smiled a lot to see that the Camel likes Coca Cola. It seems like the most important thing you got out of the PhD was going beyond your limits. Congratulations. I can see you worked your butt off and had fun doing it.
I tried learning code in my free time and often stop after a few lines. I commend you.

Yeah, coding is not easy but with a bit of focus you can learn it. Also it requires parctise almost everyday as you may loose confidence otherwise. I program in Java and R. What language did you choose to program ?

I started Java and then thought I should learn python. I'm not proficient in either. Technology is not my field. I studied science and education but after interactions in Steemit I can see a few ways coding can be useful for me.

Great! I also teach computer science as an assistant professor. Thanks for finding time to check Refind. I think you will find it very useful. If you have a twitter account the signup is very easy as you can sign up with that.
