But one hadith reveals that the eclipse is related to the occurrence of the end of the world.

Abu Musa Al Asy'ari radhiyallahu 'anhu said, "There was a solar eclipse at the time of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam.
The Prophet then stood frightened because he feared that there would be a Day of Judgment, so that he went to the mosque and then he prayed by standing, bowing and prolonging prostrations.

Prophet Muhammad SAW then said, "Surely this is a sign of the power of God that He showed. The eclipse does not happen because of the death or life of a person.

But God made it so to scare His servants. But if you see some of the eclipses, then be quick to dhikr, pray and ask forgiveness of Allah "(Muslim 912).
Imam Nawawi Rahimahullah explained why the Messenger of Allah was afraid of eclipses.
Because the eclipse is one of the signs that appear before the end, in addition to the rising of the sun from the west, and the outbreak of dajal.
Therefore Rasulullah SAW encourages his people to pray during the eclipse.
"If you see the two eclipses of the solar and lunar eclipses, hurry to pray" (Bukhari).

When eclipses occur, Muslims are encouraged to practice the sunnah of eclipse. With regard to the sun, the eclipse's prayer is called kusuf prayer.
It is based on a hadith narrated by Muslims. The Hadith is from Aisha Radhiyallahu 'Anha.
"Aisha radhiyallahu 'anha said that in the time of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam ever happened solar eclipse.
He then sent someone to call 'Ash sholatu jami'ah' (let's do the congregational prayer). People then gather. The Prophet then stepped forward and accosted.
He performed four ruku 'and four times prostrated in two rak'ah. "

Then he ruku 'and extended his ruku'. Then he stood up again and extended the stand but was shorter than the previous one. Then he ruku 'back and extend ruku' is but shorter than the previous ruku '. Then he prostrated and extended the prostration. In the next rak'ah he did it like the first rak'ah. Then he moved (after doing the prayer), while the sun has appeared. "
