Meet Fidelis: he is a fightersteemCreated with Sketch.

After my left leg was amputated, I spent almost three years in the hospital not because of my health but because I could not pay the hospital bill of N430,000. I was on the hospital bed one day when one of my Uncles came and told me that he would no longer have anything to do with me again because nothing was going to come out of me

Those were some of the deep things Fidelis Truth shared live on
WiGRadio on Friday 12th January 2018 when he was interviewed on the program #PraiseAndPassion with Odunayo . here

Fidelis was involved in a bike accident that lead to his leg being amputated to save his life in 2013. Abandoned by family and left to die. All this right before he could write his Waec exams( an exams to get into universities in West Africa)

Today, despite the odds, Fidelis is alive and is trying to rebuild his life. It is in no way easy for him and he needs all the support he can get.

His story is so touching and inspiring. It is inspiring to see someone who life pushes down but refuses to stay down. Someone who chooses to find reasons to smile and keep pushing. He just released a
song about the love of God regardless of what he has been through.

He voiced his desire to go back to go back to school and is already preparing for 2018 Waec examination and is in need of a prosthetic leg

< I wouldn't mind a prosthetic leg even though I know it is expensive

I am aware that someone after listening to him that day has offer to pay his tuition fee through the university but is still need the of a leg.

He is young and needs the support he can get to win.

I wish that for him as well

A touching and inspiring story.

In disability lies ability

It takes some special grace for most to realise that... It really isn't an easy task

Your background shouldn't put your back on the ground. He is a fighter. I sincerely pray and hope he gets all the help he can.

Amen! Wouldn't be nice if he losses that fight in him.

He won't. Help is on the way.

Many of us will read this and applaud the young man for his determination to forge ahead despite his seemingly hopeless situation.

How many dreams have we forgotten due to the light challenges we are facing? This taught me,

no matter how bad it can be, it's really not that bad. There is still a reason to keep going

We all need strength. So many things faced a and to be faced... It is well

He is so cute! Did you say he is a fighter? Well more than a fighter, i'd say he is a warrior. Yes he has a fighting spirit.

Very very cute face :)... Such spirit isnt everywhere... It is easy to push.. It takes grace

Is he on steemit? Let me know his steemit if any. Very inspiring and heart touching story. May God bless him and all of us and forgive our sins. Amen.

He isnt on steemit... I didnt get a chance to meet with him at the studio that day... But was hoping making this post would make him 100 sbd from @kafkanarchy84 contest.. That would really help him if he wins
