Intramuros: A trip to historic heart of the ancient walled city of Manila part 1 [17 photos]

in philippines •  8 years ago

Intramuros is the place to be for people who loves to go back in time with history. Here you can find Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, the Cathedral and old buildings and more establishments that survived wars, invasions, calamities and the test of time from the Spaniards to the Americans to the Japanese.

Today, Intramuros has many schools, restaurants, hotels, publishing companies and new buildings. But the maintenance of the relic of the past is a problem and it looks like being neglected. The Manila local government wants to take back the care of the walled city because the current Intramuros Admins are not doing enough to preserve this piece of history.

Btw, Here are my photos using a zenfone2 camera, all images are SOOC not edited.
