So, I decided to engage in this so-called Daily Photo Challenge where I would take a photo of something that would catch my eye and post it here on Steemit.
Tonight, I just happened to be walking back to somewhere else when I saw this vivid afterglow just around 6:30 in the evening. It's unfortunate that I lacked the time to get a timelapse video of it.
A faint but picturesque mixture of orange, red, violet, and blue, as I would say, coupled with the lights from residential areas far away--the horizon was but a symphony of these colors clashing to each other, resulting in a stage that would travel thousands of miles a second to the human eye. It is just me that I find this captivating at all. Perhaps the time at dusk and dawn were my most favorite times of my daily life. As time approaches to that period, I would always get the urge to head out and look out at the sky.
At least I'm fortunate that the weather was favorable today, and the clouds seemingly coalesced together with the other elements that make up that huge bowl above us.
