An active volcano, named Mayon, is located in Bicol region, Philippines. The unique of this volcano is that you can see as an almost perfect cone seeing at 360-degree angle.
Legazpi City is the closest to view this nature. There are available direct flights from Manila to Legazpi. If you are from other country, you must come to Manila first, which is the the capital of the Philippines. Upon arriving at Legazpi airport especially in early in the morning, you will be amazed of its beauty. Because usually there would still be no clouds to appear that blocks its view.
Many people still live nearby the volcano despite warnings of undetermined occurrence of minor eruptions. A major eruption occured last 1814, that buried the church in half with rocks and lava.
There are also a lot of good hotels that offer delicious foods that you have not tasted before. People are friendly and hospitable to accomodate and guide you in this area. A lot of other historic places to visit during Spanish era.
This is only one of the best tourists attraction in the country showing God's amazing creation.
