I have been on Steemit for the past two weeks. Bit by bit I am getting along with how it works. I have been meeting new friends and been witnessing a lot of exciting avenues for assorted fields. What I really love about more are the contests. I started joining just two days ago. Of course, the prices are really something to look forward to but what is more to that are the virtues it brings. 
Upon joining contest your creative juices are being extracted. I would like to give applause to those people behind for being creative and generous in starting these events. Kudos for using Steemit as a platform to showcase the talents of Steemian that probably was never heard before. It promotes camaraderie and friendship.
Steemit became a medium for unity in diversity. People of different race, interest, class, status, work come together as one and everyone is equal. I have also been witnessing warm welcome to newcomers of which I experienced too.
I am loving Steemit. I so happy and blessed for being a part of this platform. There are still a lot of exciting and interesting things to look forward to. I feel exhilarated.
Steem dollars may go down as of now but the unity and camaraderie it brings to diverse people is a big achievement.
