On the other day we visited my uncle Titing who also lives in Maguinda. I havent seen him also for a long time, I think it was the last visit over 10 years ago. He is the eldest brother and also the eldest of all sibling of my mother. My mother is the youngest by the way. Uncle Titing is very sick at the moment, he has a pneumonia. My mum went already to the hospital with him (in Davao) to get all the necessary checkups. At first there was a suspicion of lung cancer, but luckily its not. He is still very weak and only lies on the floor. :(

LOL

We walked around 20-25 minutes to my uncles house from the house where we stayed. As I mentioned in the blog before there were some rainy days and alot of mud. It was really a hard walk LOL, I really needed to concentrate not to fall down coz it was so slippery hehe... thank god my other cousins guided us and helped. Most people there use rubber boots, I wish I had mines with me, then it would be so easy to walk :)

dinner

After dinner we went back to our house. It was already dark and I was worried about going the way back. My cousins said we would take another way back, my auntie argued that its a better way with less smoothness. But it was wrong hehe... that way was worse the other one, much more slippery and much more mud! My husband even got sticked in the mud til his knees, too bad I dont have a picture. Actually it was better to walk barefoot, but I was a lilbit scared of insects on the ground, I might step on one.. on the left and right were only rice fields. I used my iphone flashlight, the others also did. Without it you would not see the hands in front of your eyes, it was really dark, nothing except the stars in the sky.

After we finally did it to the house we first washed our foot and shoes :) It was really an adventure!
