When we were still young with my siblings, we used to go with my grandmother's two brother's houses. The old house where my great grandmother lived went to her youngest son. That old house were the center of me and my sibling's world where we play along with our second cousins especially during major holidays like Christmas, Feasts, and family reunions.

The reunions were awesome because the other brother of my grandmother would roast a whole pig and it will go on roasting for about three hours and after that we would all eat together. The pork on the bamboo pole would get stuffed with few seasonings inside plus the tamarind leaves and it makes a tangy taste on the meat which really makes it delicious along with some rice.

Now that my grandmother passed away more than thirteen years ago plus her own siblings too and now the wife of my grandmother's brother, the last of the matriarchs and it leaves us all grandparentless and parentless for my parents. uncles and aunts and the situation is never the same again.

Llife just has to move forward, we can never permanently dwell in the past and what we can just do is to continue living and maybe relive those moments with the next generation with us getting the role of once was our grandparents to make another moment in our family and lovedone's history.
