Young people love the Philippines

College students have a great time in the Philippines.

This is a memorial site for Typhoon Yolanda, which was the biggest typhoon to ever make landfall. It was a major disaster, but the people of the Philippines, especially Tacloban, persevered.

Everyone loves Jollibee.

Filipinos love the water, so in addition to the great beaches there are lots of pools as well.

These girls take advantage on a photo opportunity.

Another pose in front of another pool.

A country made of islands needs lots of bridges, and this is the longest in the country, San Juanico Bridge.

There are also nice places for hiking.

This is still the Philippines, but the girls chose a Hawaiian theme.

The party goes on into the evening.

Here is another beautiful site, but this time up in the mountains.

Here is the most popular and refreshing dessert/snack in the Philippines, Halo-halo.

There is so much to see and do (and taste). I hope more people discover this great country.
