One of the most memorable events of 2020 is the Taal Volcano eruption. It is located in Batangas which is quite far from my home yet we wer still greatly affected of the ash fall. It erupted last January 12, 2020 while I was at the office working. When I clocked out the ash fall started. Good thing I had a mask on because I had a cough beforehand. It was actually difficult to breathe with a mask on much more when there were ashes everywhere. We don't have any choice but to wear them. The next morning, heavy ashes settled in our land. We have to do major clean up. Government and private sectors suspended all classes and work because the Taal volcano is still in level 4, which means it can still erupt for the second time any second. What was frustrating is that the masks were sold out in all 10 stores I inquired in (even now you cannot buy any mask anywhere or if you do get to purchase one that is a rare gem). I hope and wish and pray these disasters stop soon.
I believe this is Mother Nature knocking in our doors to take care of her. She is making us realize that we should stop destroying our environment. If you have ideas on how we can help protect Mother Nature feel free to share it with me!
