Papa mama naririnig mo pa ba ako? Isang tanung na masakit kung iisipin
Hindi natin alam kung kailan sila kukunin satin
May mga bagay talaga sa mundo na ang hirap tangapin
Lalo na kung ito ay mahal at mahalaga sa atin.

Buhat ng ako'y maliit pa kayo ay nandyan
Mula sa aking unang hakbang ako'y inalalayan
Kung ako'y maysakit laging binabantayan
Lubos na pagmamahal ang inyong pinaramdam.

Nang ako'y nagkaisip kayo'y kinalimutan
Ako'y nalulong sa silakbo ng kabataan
Kasama ang barkada at mga kaibigan
Nangungulilang magulang,naghihintay sa tahanan.

Naisipan kong umuwi upang kayo'y silipin
Aking nadatnan, ama't inang patpatin
Habol ang hiningang halos lagutin
Ngayo'y nagsisisi, umiiyak sa dilim.
