Vegan Café, Non-toxic Soap and Deodorant, and Saying Goodbye to Plastic Straw

in philippines •  6 years ago  (edited)

Last Saturday I went to Glorietta to buy non-toxic soap and deodorant for our dogs and puppies. The mall is around 19 km away from my place. Adding the moderate traffic, it took me 1 and 30 minutes to reach Gorietta. To my dismay the eco store where I was supposed to buy the stuff has been closed for good. Good thing they have a branch in BGC.

Before heading to BGC I decided to eat at Wheelys Cafe. It's a small vegan cafe at Glorietta 1. I was thrilled to try their vegan soy chicken adobo and pineapple smoothie. I used my bamboo straw for the first time and it felt good. Goodbye, plastic straw. It's good to know that this simple act could lessen my carbon footprint. I left the café with a thinner wallet, a bigger stomach and a happier heart. Lol

Back to the search of non-toxic soap and deodorant. I travelled for around 20 minutes to get to the store. I was relieved that it's a big branch and not just a stall. The best part was they had lots of soap and deodorant in stock.

The day ended well and up to this writing our pets sleep better. The soap and deodorant had somehow cured their skin condition.

Thanks for reading, Steemians. :)
