Guide for Newbies: How to Withdraw Your SBD and Steem on Your Mobile Phone to Your coins.ph Account

in philippines •  7 years ago  (edited)

Are you using your phone here on Steemit? Is it your first time or second time to withdraw your SBD or Steem? Are you from Philippines and using coins.ph as your wallet? Then this withdrawal guide can help you. A

Unlike in other websites where you will only click or tap on redeem or cashout button, it's not the same thing here on Steemit. Your hard-earned Steemit money will undergo trading through Blocktrades.

Head over coins.ph

1

To start, if you have no idea where is your Bitcoin Address, check the photo below:
image
Using the web version of coins.ph, go to wallet button, and tap on BTC. Again, BTC and not PHP wallet. Hitting on PHP sometimes happen, so this is a reminder. Then tap on the barcode button.

This one will pop up. Copy the alphanumeric characters which is your Bitcoin wallet address.

2

Hit the Redeem Rewards button which will appear after every payout of your blog posts and comments.

Scroll down to Steem Dollars and tap on the amount.
image
A drop down menu will appear, tap on Sell.

3

Blocktrades will open on another tab, enter the amount you will withdraw. The value to BTC will be calculated. Then paste your Bitcoin wallet address on Your Received Address.

Scroll down and top on the Copy icon.

4

Go back to to your Steemit tab and the wallet.
image
Tap on the amount again, and a drop down menu will appear. Choose Transfer.

image
Transfer to Account will pop-up.
Enter blocktrades on 'To:'
*Take note: small caps on "b"

Enter the amount:

The paste the menu you copied from Blocktrades.

Tap on Submit and you're done.

Usually, the money will appear on coins.ph in less than an hour or even 30 minutes!

How about withdrawing Steem?

image
Go to Steemit > Wallet > Steem
A drop down menu will appear. Then tap on Sell.

Then follow the steps on what you did on withdrawing your Steem Dollars (SBD).

I had no problem receiving coins using PHP wallet but I will never sell SBD to BTC due to Blockchain FEE and transaction delays. :)
I always use SBD to buy Steem then sell STEEM to DOGE if I need PESO :)
https://steemit.com/blog/@pinay/why-not-to-sell-steem-dollar-sbd

Thanks for that insight. I am thinking of doing the same thing but ETH, and not DOGE. But I am still unsure if Coinomi is good. It's the only wallet I am using besides coins.ph.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

I didn't like Coinomi. I use Coinpot.co DOGE wallet and convert to BTC if I want to transfer at Coinsph. I use Jaxx wallet on android if I want to sell DOGE thru pinoybitcoinexchange.com :) DOGE kasi pinakamababa FEE.
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@pinay/steemit-and-paymaya-philippines
Ethereum if I want to buy BNB :)

@iyanpol12 how much is the transaction fee using blocktrades? I had used Bittrex before but the fees are way too huge. Thanks

Actually, BTC transaction fee is high. It will appear when you are transacting there.
