We are All Curators, and Earn Rewards From It

One of the misconception by some members is you have to be part of a curation team to become a curator. In fact, I conceived it that way when I was newbie because nobody can exactly explain about curation (despite the claims of others).

I researched posts from Steemit, particularly the veterans, to grasp about curation especially during my first week as Steemian. Yes, I haven't seen the curation reward appearing yet on my account at that time.

We are all curating posts if we are doing these

We are actually curating posts if we are upvoting posts, as well commenting. The amount of curation rewards we receive depends on the time of commenting and upvoting the post, and the number of curators in a post. Curation reward will be divided among those who curated the post. That means, we can all be curators!

Make use of my Steem Power by curating contents

I currently have more than 2,400 Steem Power from my earnings and delegations. I am distributing rewards through upvoting numerous posts. In fact, I am earning approximately 3 Steem Power in a week! I am even trying my best not to go below 80% of Voting Power.

At the moment, I am thinking of maximising it even not going below 80% of Steem Power. I will not go for curation trail as well. I will just divide to more people the contribution of my upvote can do on other Steemians' posts. It will be beneficial for me, and for more members as well. I know a member who earns about 16 SP from his more than 2,000 Steem Power. I think I can do the same.

Talking about curation teams

There are a number of curation teams which rewards quality contents which were underappreciated like @curie, @ocd, @bayanihan (curating tons of posts living up to its name), and others. You can be a curator if you are going to apply. Check their posts for further details. That's why we are all encouraged tp create quality contents. We can achieve Steemit success if we apply what's being taught to us.
