Traffic Can Be Stressful

in philippines •  7 years ago

Now a days people tend to buy cars for luxury and some for necessity. It can help daily activities but when we are on the road and stuck in the traffic it can make our day gloomy.

Traffic is mostly found in the cities especially in peak hours/season. The government has many plans to resolve the issue, however, it hasn't change at all. Some people get use to it and some can't bear the situation they have encounter.

Here are some instances that traffic can really stress your day.

  • You will be late in going to school/office.

  • You want to urinate but you can't because your still on the road.

  • You're hungry but you can't buy food because the cars on the road are not moving.

  • You want to stretch your body because you keep on sitting down for how many minutes or hours, waiting to reach your destination.

  • I pity those parents/guardians who bring their kids going somewhere, especially if they are riding on a public utility jeepney and stuck on the heavy traffic.

How about you my fellow steemians? What's your experience being stuck on the traffic?

What I do when I'm running late for an even is not worry. You should feel bad for a minute but not for your entire trip because that won't change the fact that you are/ going to be late already.

that's right @leggy23

Oh I'd remember the Holiday + Traffic Rush in Makati. That was the most terrible experience that I had 7 hours traveling time. Isama mo na si waiting time ng masasakyan as in nakakaiyak ang experience. No public utility vehicles na masasakyan, MRT's are not functioning puno ang bus station. Basta mga ganun shookt!

Yeah holiday season was the most busiest day..traffic was everywhere

Being stuck in traffic jam is an ordinary daily routine. The only thing we can do is wake up an hour earlier and use the GPS to find the less congested roads, @jingjing202 :)

you're right, thanks @wilhb81

I just hate traffic! I live in Cebu and part of Mandaue has a terrible traffic congestion when peak hours came. Thanks for sharing this @jinjing202! Love it!!!

you're welcome @emmanuelle23

Being in a traffic can be very stressfull and frustrating. Traffic congestion can make people late for work. And I was late today! deym I live farther from my work and I have to wake up early everyday and leave home an hour and a half before my shift start. So I still wonder why I got myself late today? hahaha

vous avez tout a fait raison

thanks @hafidha

That picture is more than a thousand words about modern life. Now, of course, we can always ponder about what else life could bring, for better or worse.

Here in the North, sometimes when we cross the high mountains east/west in traffic between two of the largest cities, in blizzards during the winter season, we drive in a row behind a large truck with a snow blower, on almost invisible roads. Only a few cars each time - otherwise the last cars would be stuck and vanish in the snow. We often sit up there for a long time waiting for the next plow drive. The road can become closed, too. Be sure to have food, drink, warm clothes. (And wade outside in the wind when we 'must'.) -- Trains can also get stuck, along with technical difficulties, or the electricity goes... It happens that people sit in the long dark for many hours, waiting for solutions, while the train staff comes with woolen blankets & more.

Seasons and length of days vary, and sunny winter days are beautiful, as are the cold starry nights. The long summer days can be really warm! I read your post about strawberries and cherries. Those are plentiful here in my country, and it is a bit funny to see exactly the same brought to you from the opposite side of the world.

Steem on! From what you've written in your posts, you have what it takes. Following you as well. All the best! :)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts @jan-p-joenland. I am glad you read my other post too.

I am in Northern Ontario, absolutely zero traffic.
Occasional black bears and coyotes, that's all :-)

traffic is so bad here in cebu its like manila already.
This is the reason why i got alot of NTE's from HR. hahahahah!
everyone can afford to buy a car, its like buying a cellphone for the worth of 5k DP.
During my college days, the car was so expensive and no one can afford to buy it.
That is the reason traffic is so bad nowadays!
