My niece named Ginalyn, not what we call her
Because the name of Dayday is what she prefers
She’s so kind and giggly and really likes to smile
She’s been like that for quite a long while

She makes me smile when I’m feeling blue
When she was younger I thought that maybe
One day she would grow into a fine lady

She has five wonderful children and is married now
But she still has a body that makes you say, “Wow”
In my heart a special place there always will be
Because Dayday my niece is so special to me.
