Steemit Family Philippines has 382 members on its facebook page and it is still growing. My mision was to spread the word about steemit. To help out my friends and family to get heard and earn. But it has grown to more than just my family and friends.

Three months had past since I started spreading the word about steemit to my friends. Not only did the group expand in Baguio City but also in Ilocos region and other parts of the world such as the Middle East. Out of the 382 members from the group, there are about 150 members that actually joined steemit. The other members are still yet to be part of the steemit community. I believe in giving them time to adapt and learn more about the steemit blockchain. As I said in my first blog about the group, some will take longer than others to adapt.

People got more interested in steemit when they saw the proof of pay out. Below are examples of payout in the past weeks from the group. They were the few that actually believed in me since the start.

They will only believe once they see proof.

That is what happened recently from the last 2 weeks in our @steemitfamilyph group. My friends had their first cash out to give proof to others that steemit is real.

@gheghenrv Pay out

@gheghenrv was the first person in the list of invites in Ilocos that had cash out. Her first cash out was around 14,000 pesos (approximately 280 USD). That is big comparing to the monthly salary of the Philippines. It surely got a lot of attention from our friends and family in Ilocos Norte. @gheghenrv said that friends that didn't believe her before (they called it scam) started to message her on how to sign up and how to earn. Wouldn't you react too on how to earn that much money in 3 weeks? I know I would.

Anyway, her first pay out started a big spark not only in Ilocos region but also in the group. It got a big attention. All of a sudden, friends and family in Ilocos Norte wanted in. They wanted to know how steemit works.

Being the proud cousin of @gheghenrv, I immediately posted on our facebook group page. This is what I had to say:

My invite has earned 14000+ pesos. It is nice to see her do a trial cash out. She earned it through persistence and perseverance despite difficulty during the start of her journey.

No money needed to make money here in steemit. Just time and dedication to post daily and interact with the community.

Good luck to those that are still sticking with me through thick and thin. Steem on fellow @steemitfamilyph. You will reap the reward in the future like how Genevibs Ramiscal Ramento did.

You can check out the proof here --> https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@gheghenrv/proof-of-being-a-steemians

What I like the most with @gheghenrv's first cash out was that she used the money in a good way. She gave 2,500 pesos to our "Annual Family Get Together." The remaining money she got from steemit, she gave to her parents for Christmas and New year spendings.

Her story got everyone in the group pump. The people that stayed with the group, @steemitfamilyph, were hype up to post and do better in their blogs.

@tentalavera Pay out

The next person to cash out from my initial invite was @tentalavera. He lost his first account after not listening to me. He only saved his password on his phone. After a week or so of posting, his phone betrayed him and all his notes got lost including his password.

That didn't stop him though, he made a new account and started all over again. It was hard to convince him to join again but he did. He pushed through and after a month or so, he was able to do his first cash out of about 7,000+ pesos.

Being a proud friend, I also posted about his first cash out on our facebook group. Here is what I had to say.

Congratulations to Tennesse Santos Talavera. His first cash out worth 7,000 pesos. After just 3 weeks he said.

He is the first person that I invited that took me seriously. He believed in me the first day I invited him. Thank you for that. He actually lost his first account but made a new one despite the set back.

It didn't cost him a dime to sign up and earn money. He didnt put any money into the site. Just time and effort. Like how we put our time in other social media such as facebook and instagram. (You don't earn anything from these site).

Why did I invite other people to the site where I don't get nothing in return from them? Well, i did it to feel that satisfaction of happiness...that I could help someone even if it is just telling them to sign up. Encouring them to post, etc.

Congratulations again Tennessee. Steem on my friend!

He also garnered some wins in photo contests.

Sometimes life can be rough but it is up to you as an individual to push through the hard time. That is what @tentalavera did.

@klborillo Pay out

I had the gut feeling of @klborillo when I invited her to steemit. I knew that she would do great. Look at her now, she is doing great.

@klborillo had her first pay out of aroun 14,000+ pesos. Here is what I had to say about her journey.

Congratulations to another steemian Kaye Borillo. Trying out her first cash out worth 14,343 pesos.

She still have 120,000 to 160,000 pesos left in her account.

She believed in me right from the start and she is now enjoying the result of her hard work. She started like any steemians; struggling and didn't understand much about the site. But now she is more capable of teaching others how to get around. Congrats ulit. :)

Here is her proof of her payout.

Other members that had already been successful in doing their first cash out includes @ankarlie @rjd @sharaine @maverickinvictus @ediah and @kenbee I would like to highlight them because of how active they are in the group. Other members that are active in the group includes @caaat @tpkidkai, @vallesleoruther and @allerie00. To all mentioned above, thank you for helping out and guiding our new members.

Thank you to @bayanihan in curating the members of @steemitfamilyph.

Special thank you to @surpassinggoogle in boosting my confidence. He had help me out a lot in steemit. Not only through his upvote but also through his amazing message to me when I talked to him. He made me realize to not be selfish. To help out even if you are not going to get nothing in return.

STEEM ON!

Agyaman nak! / Thank you! / Salamat po! / ¡Gracias!

Thank you Jon for extending the warm welcome even if we were at first strangers.

When I first entered I was hesitant because all of you knew each other personally being classmates and friends in Baguio but slowly I was able to open up and become closer with everyone.

Then we started having other people from other places and even around the world and we just grew.

Now as we embark on a new year we have new members that we will begin their journey and just like you did we will help them as they go along their journey in Steemit.

Ohana means family and no one gets left behind.

I was also hesitant in talking to the members that were not part of my invites but I realize, thanks to @surpassinggoogle, that there should be no boundaries. We shouldnt put someone at an disadvantage just because you dont know them or they come from a different place. I learned that the group should open up to strangers like you ;).

Look where we are now, we are now good friends because we accepted. We didnt put boundaries.

Yes, as much as possible, we should help the newcomers overcome the struggles that we went through.

Yay! Special mention, I will not be here not because of you Kuya, THANK YOU for motivating me and keep pushing on us. i almost quit back then yet you told me, longevity! And now I am reaping all those sacrifices.

You help us from the start without any in return, we will do the same to new steemians especially @steemitfamilyph.

You are truly an inspiration Kuya ever since, from our cousins getaway to steemit journey! We know we cannot pay now what you did to us, all we can do right now is to pray that you will pass your board.

You deserve all the blessings Kuya because you are not selfish and you remain humble. To many more gapang journey and aiming dreams to the moon, million goals for 2018! Cheers Kuya! 🙂

As long as I see that I helped someone. I am happy as a clam. Sometimes, it is not just about recieving something in return to what you have done but it is also knowing that you help someone at the cost of nothing. Nowe must pass on our knowledge to others. Specially to the newbies and hopefully they will be inspired to do the same and help out others too.

I joined the family after I finished registration and my account was approved. But nonetheless it's a great family, been here for almost 2 months now, been gone for a month, then came back, and I was moved by how I was welcomed like a family related by blood, you guys are awesome, every last one of you, the new ones who don't know me(yet!) included. May our family grow bigger and rowdier(well, khen and me online at the same time would be rowdy, I hope someone else joins in and add to the fun!). Good health to everyone and Happy New Year.

Thanks for mention jon really appreciate it. Haha I am just a lurker sa group and if may kayang sagutin I'll answer you folks are super awesome! Keep it up. Nga pala yung entry mo wala pa ha. Hahaha I am tracking it 😂 Yung masarap na pagkain na maglalaway ang readers at maipagmamalaking nandun lang sa area nyo.

The group will always welcome you. No matter what.

A good lurker you are hehe. I have been seeing you a lot lately.

Good job Jon! I salute you on how you are always able to implement your mission, vision, plans, into action. Truly and inspiration. You are blessed in almost every aspect of your life but you were never hard to reach. Stay humble and keep on inspiring people like me. Steem on! 👊🏼

Congratulations to everyone and to our group whi just keeps on growing and the people whi contributed a lot on its growth! Yay! 2018 will be great for everyone and even greater for those who work really hard for it. 😊

I think this is one of the reason why i am on this planet earth. To help those that needs help. I have gotten anpther purpose to live.

Our group will grow. Thank you for being a part of it.

I’m more than happy to be a part of it. Thank you! 😊

Keep being a part of it and know that each and everyone has a role in the group.

thank you sir jon for the warm welcome and everyone in @steemfamilyph . I am not visible at group conversation, its just that I am really busy at work that my only way to tell the group that Im still here is when im posting , but I am more than glad that I had you all at my back. Thanks for being a guide to all of us. :)

I am glad you are part of the group. Just keep steeming and advertise your post to us when you have the time.

I dont have any regrets joining this platform . special thanks to @gheghenrv for introducing this to us and for always supporting me and @xbudeh. You are all such an inspiration to new like us. We keep pushing and putting our effort and time to make blog with good content. Happy steeming for all of us. Thank you @jon24jon24 for inspiring other people. And thank you to the support not only to me but to the steemit family. 😊

@gheghenrv is a great asset to the group. Withlut her, the Ilocos group would not flourish like it is now.

She has the enthusiam and eagerness for all the things she's doing. I personally thank her for being such a motivation to the group. And also to you @jon24jon24 and to the rest of the family. To the never ending support whenever we need. Thank you. 😊

As long as you past that eagerness and enthusiasm to others like how @gheghenrv has passed it to you. I will be happy person. Steem on!

Hi. I am just new to this family and have a lot to learn. I just started 2 days ago and honestly do not have an in depth idea of how this works. I just enjoy posting blogs about me, my routine and things that I love. I hope I get to know all of you here and that through everyone I may learn more the beauty of steemit. I see a lot of potential in this community and as I said on my introductory post, this has been the best decision (so far) I made in 2018. The year has a lot in store for me and for all just continue to work hard and help one another. Thank you steemitfamilyph for letting me join here.

Hang in there ma'am, just sit tight and enjoy the ride. And also there's nothing wrong about posting about things you like or your routine, it's your account after all, so it's only natural that we see things about you in your blogs. Hell, no one's even telling me to stop dishing out crappy poems since it's my account. Welcome to the family! Cheers!
