We all know that traveling is one of the best experience we can have in our life. It is our another way of making ourselves happy and satisfied. Learning is also a strong reason why we love to travel. We just want to experience something unfamiliar and leave with new skills or knowledge.
Because I am a Filipino and I also want to travel all over Philippines, I've done lots of research about these 5 different places in my country.
So if you are planning to have a trip in the Philippines, this article will help you make your trip even better!
#1: Tagaytay
If you are looking for a colder place near Metro Manila which is the capital of the Philippines, Tagaytay is the right place for you!
You can reach Tagaytay within 2-3 hour car ride from Metro Manila. This place if known for its delicious food like bulalo, or bone marrow, and halayang ube, purple yam jam. The best spot for eating these foods is at the Tagaytay Picnic Grove where you can breathe the fresh air and take in the famous sight of the Taal volcano, one of the most popular and active volcanoes in the Philippines. If you are planning to stay overnight, there are many resorts and hotels, as well.

If you just want to relax, swim, snorkel, or find some child-friendly waves, La Union offers many low-key pleasures, but if you want to do surfing, La Union has that, too.

#3: Baguio City
Baguio City is one of the cooles place in the Philippines because of its high altitude. It is considered the summer capital of the Philippines because the best time to go there is summer, when the temperature in metro Manila reaches 37 degrees Celcius. This city is located approximately 1,540 meters (5,050 feet) above see level n the Luzon tropical pine forests ecoregion, which also makes it conducive for the growth of mossy plants and orchids.

#4: Boracay
Boracay is famous for its white and glassy-smooth sand beaches. The beach path is typically awash with visitors, including large groups of package tourists from across Asia. The ocean is full of romantic paraws (an outrigger sailboat) giving rides; colourful parasails fill the air. After perfect sunsets, live music breaks out, and fire dancers twirl their batons. The party goes on all night.
Some say that if you visit Philippines and missed Boracay, you missed the whole point.
