THE MINI BORACAY IN LEYTE ''THE CANIGAO ISLAND''

Hi steemians i just want to share my experience in Canigao Island the mini boracay in Matalom leyte. Canigao is a small island located in matalom leyte its not easy to there, if you are from Cebu just ride a boat headed to port of bato leyte and ride a tricycle and tell the driver to sent you in canigao port. They charge you 15 pesos. And get a boat ticket which cost you 130 pesos 2 way to sent you in the island.

Been here with my friends last year (April) for a vacation. When we reached in there, I love the place because it has a fine white sand and also it was my first time to see a parole in the middle of an island and you can really go visit the whole island because of it's circular shaped.

A beautiful island with pure white sand, I was able to take a round tour with my friends. Amazing to find out that the center of the island is really a forest and the back portion is a sanctuary. A quite place to think of things, relax, far from the crowded city. I recommend you to go there early in the morning since boat going to the island requires certain number of passenger before it would cross the sea. Bring foods (e.g marinated pork/fish for sugba) you could cook there. You have the option to stay overnight but boat will be available early in the morning coming from the mainland, so it means, there is no way out during the night. Better to bring sunblock, foods and water.. and more better if you bring tent. Their cottage is 700 pesos. But if you prepared to set on the sand its only free..

Canigao Island is very White, milky sand beautiful island it is indeed a paradise. A circle around the island and the sceneries are quite good. Go to the back of the island and you'll see beautiful sceneries and feel a peaceful, quite.
