I just got back from a trip to General Santos on the Island of Mindanao in the Southern Philippines and had a great time! My favorite fruit in the world is Durian, and here is a short video of me having my first durian there!
I highly recommend going to General Santos, Davao and Mati, all in the same area, the very south of the Philippines. Many people think it is dangerous here, but like many news stories it is FAKE NEWS ^^. The people here are great and the fruit is the best I have found thus far in my travels, and the cheapest also!
