"Sa-sa" - is a bisayan word, this is made of a bamboo tree that used to be a wall in the house. The bamboo that was cut by the desire measurement of it's height but remain as whole. By using a bolo or sharp flat material to make it flat. When the bamboo breaks you need to be careful not to separate them it should still be intact and then you can cut it in half and make it as a wall.

"amakan" - is also made of bamboo tree, they cut the whole bamboo tree for the desire length into many pieces. They used a sharp materials to make the bamboo tree become thinner like it going to sharp before they start forming a wall. This kind of wall is hard to make, only those who trains in making it can do it. Unlike "sa-sa" that can be make by anyone but the "amakan" is hard in making like a "banig" it takes too much time before they made it. As of now "amakan" is the one you can see always of many house because the "amakan" is beautiful to see than
"sa-sa".
