Manila, Philippines – The program Pulis @ Ur Serbis, Aksyon Agad! is the newest public service radio program of the Philippine National Police which aims to address complaints of the public that needs police assistance.
The program hosted by policemen, will receive live phone calls and walk-in complaints.
It will even receive complaints concerning high-ranking officers.
Anyone can air their complaint wherever they may be as the program airs nationwide.
“This will be faster because it is direct from them and they can easy mobilize, this will be fair to all regardless of what complaint they will receive, even if it is a complaint to some police officials,” BMPI-UNTV CEO Dr. Daniel Razon said.
PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa is also one of the hosts of the program which also serves as an extension of the PNP’s job as public servants.
Dela Rosa said the purpose of the program will help them expand their scope of public services.
Despite the efforts, the PNP chief admits it is inevitable for policemen to think the public is not pleased with what they are doing, that’s why the program will be a big help in regaining public trust.
“Because of this activity, many stakeholders have signed the agreement to manifest their support in the police. This will erase the idea that the public does not appreciate what we are doing,” said Dela Rosa.
The Police Community Relations Group headed by PS/Supt. Rhodel Sermonia will lead the program
