Santol with chili and bagoong

This is the season for santol or cotton fruit. Filipinos all over the Philippines are having different styles of preparing this fruit.

This fruit is a bit sour thats why we usually eat this with bagoong and chili to complement its taste. Perfect for rainy season.

Omggg!!! Saraaap :) marami na din bunga yung samin dito kaso, hindi pa siya ripe masyado. Looking forward for harvest time :D Favorite kong way to prepare it is yung i.p.peel siya tapos ilalagay sa tubig with salt tapos ilalagay sa fridge to make it cold tapos pag.cold na siya, super yummy :)
