We have an update with one of our Scholars in Laguna - Carlo. If you haven't check his introductory post you can view it here.
It has been raining greatly here in our country but that doesn't mean that Carlo will be beaten by the heavy rain.
With your generosity he was able to use the funds that we gave to him for his school expenses. A portion went to his tuition fee which he pays in installment before he can take their major exams.
Currently he still have some balance owed to school but with his job and also the stipends that we give each month it can surely help him a lot.
As part of their thesis in Business Management they conducted a pre-selling program to test whether their proposed business will be able to penetrate its target market and place without using too much funds. A portion of the funds given to him by @scholarsph was used to buy some of the materials for the project and even documents for printing.
They opened a booth in their school and also created a Facebook Page for their project called Walking on Art.
On the said project, what they do is create a customized shoes for people. Their canvass is the white shoes itself and with the use of markers they will design the following.
Yesterday, they just finished their pre-selling process and they will give us an update on the results of their studies if they are able to penetrate the market. But with the awesome designs that they have we think that it will be a hit in the future.
