This is again one of the best works from Kuyog Hangin. Among all of his works, this one is my favorite. A very risky way of showing how expensive love could be especially to the non-conventional once. The way it is being laid is very unique but led the readers into one direction. As I read, it was only at my second round of reading when I understand that what is in front of me is actually a short story. This short story seems so bold letting us face the reality behind idealism. No matter how many times we are going to make excuses when it comes to love we need to be prepared and be ready to give up what is in us. Even if we all think that the society nowadays is slowly accepting the concept and presence of LGBT community, that they are also humans who have emotions and willing to love and be loved but sometimes this concept of "love" is one thing they are hungry of. For until this modern time, they are still in doubt if they are accepted or not and if the love given to them is genuine or not. When all the changes that occurs in our society coupled by how our culture dictates all of us on how we act this is the time that we are going to face some doubts in choosing who to love and how to love. Yet, at the end of the day personally I believe that as human beings we can only learn how to trust in love when we know how to love ourselves and above all TRUST ourselves on what we are capable of.
