THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE EXPERIENCE – A rare opportunity by accident - A one of a kind experience beyond AMAZING

One of the common and best type of relaxation that you can think of is STAYCATION, but where?. Most of the time we are considering hotels, either in the city or somewhere far from the bustling noise of the city, in provinces nearby or in an island. The thought of considering hotels may cost you a reasonable to luxurious amount, but one thing is for sure, you have to spend a good deal of money, especially when opting to stay in a 5star hotel.

Hotels are categorize based on the following: Size, target market, levels of service and lastly in ownership and affiliations. Each hotel will again have a different room types: from single room to presidential suite, in between these two are 21 other room types.

Let me highlight the SUITE type of room, below are the various kinds of suites.

Suite −It is composed of one or more bedrooms, a living room, and a dining area. It is excellent for the guests who prefer more space, wish to entertain their guests without interruption and giving up privacy.There are various types of suites:

o Regular Suite − Best for business travelers.

o Penthouse Suite − Luxurious than the regular suite. It is provided with the access to terrace space above the suite. It is aloof from crowd and provides a bird’s eye view of the city. It has all the amenities and structure similar to a regular suite.

o Presidential Suite − the best possible suite in the hotel.

It was one weekend when me and my friends decided to stay in Intercontinental Abu Dhabi, mainly for staycation like literally, we even brought with us some foods (to save some money considering the cost of the foods in the hotel) and to avoid going out as we wanted to maximize our stay in the room. Upon check in, we have found out that our reservation has been missed out, since that was on a weekend, the hotel is fully booked. We were asked to wait for a couple of minutes till it lasted for more than an hour while they were sorting out the matter. Trying to keep our cool, we decided to cancel our stay and go somewhere else so as not to spoil the day.

As we approached the reception area to finally cancel our stay, the manager came, spoke to us and decided to give us the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE, as it was the only room available that time. Well, well, well, we may have waited for quite a long time, but who are we to refuse such wonderful offer right? Haha… AN ULTIMATE UPGRADE!

The Presidential Suite is normally being used by dignitaries and VVIP guests. LOVELY and LUCKY US!!! (Overnight stay might cost us a fortune: 15,000 Dirhams ++ minimum)

Memories are memories be it good or bad they will remain in our hearts and minds, and this one… woooof it’s definitely the best stay I’ve ever had in a hotel! I can rate the experience with all the stars that twinkle above the sky hahaha

Living and Dining Area: both can accommodate 8pax, one of our friend even invited her churchmates and had their meeting in the hotel rather than going outside and she got to share how it feels staying inside the Presidential Suite 😉

This one really surprised me! The room is good for ONE!!! Haha ... I was so naive that time, I’m finding it so hard to believe! Hahahaha ... Imagine that! But of course we managed to fit ourselves in the room ... we have 3 XL sofas anyway in the living room 😂

THE BAYSHORE is their main pool area, but you may also opt to stay in their mini pool deck located at the 3rd floor

Indeed, thank you Lord for the wonderful and one of kind experience, we may not afford to stay here but He made it possible... We really had fun and memorable stay!

TIP: if ever you are caught in the same situation during check in, JUST KEEP YOUR COOL! Put you PATIENCE in full stretch! Haha ... you may never know what they can offer to compensate for their actions.
