Talking about the new show of GMA 7, Victor Magtanggol. I don't know how many people have read the book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, but I must say Victor Magtanggol's character implies that he is a demigod.
His father doesn't seemed to care much about him. In the scene where Victor asked his father, actually bragging about their last name 'Magtanggol' to be mean something as brave, Victor's father (played by Al Tantay) just brushed it off. I was thinking maybe, Victor is his mother's child to some other guy. The reason why their mother leave probably was guilt. She couldn't bear being with her real husband. It will lead now to maybe, a bigger, more serious, crime-related reason why Victor was born.
Victor knows how to fight even though he was never trained to do so. In Rick Riordan's PJO series, demigod has this reflexes where they can fight whenever necessary. Victor obviously is brave and can fight. It's probably his godly blood that aids him.
However, I might be thinking too much. it's just the first episode but who knows I might be right? hahaha
