The Idealism of Plato.

This professor gives a clear and simple synopsis of Plato’s philosophy. I post it here as it’s relevant to my natural law post which is where much of Natural Law theory is rooted. But the forms nor the laws exist in reality and certainly not the way Plato thought or suggested. 

I’ve suggested that Duality is likely the true metaphysics and if something like the forms did exist they exist via the deluded minds of the demiurge and the archons. This prof. touches on this idea briefly @ 44:10 Hence our confusion about what reality is within this brutal existence. 

I should note that although the lecture is first rate he does digress into needless patriotism at one part. Meh...
