Most people say that philosophy is very difficult and difficult, but these people do not realize that their daily life is filled with philosophy, or it can be said they have philosophized in his life. Philosophy interests me although I never studied it, just read a lot. It fascinates because as you say, it means love of wisdom. Wisdom is attained by reading, experiencing and appreciating. My favourite philosopher is Socrates, now he was wise and claimed not to be.
