Steemians probably get and support the NAP ten times more often than any other social media site. Compared to 30 years ago, when we were first exposed to this simple but powerful ethical guideline, progress in spreading this idea, has been remarkable. The web and social media have accelerated the process of someone going from being a believer in limited government to a full blown voluntaryist. What took years, even decades for many, now takes months.
But still, the NAP is something that the average political junkie, locked in the left/right paradigm has no inkling of.
The FOOLs' Party will be the first Intergalactic/Interdimensional/Interspecies Anti-Political Party. To appeal to a broader audience, which is necessary to create and harness a Falkvingian Swarm, one of our key principles will be the R.A.P (Reduce Aggression Principle).
While not understanding the NAP is often the result of 12 or more years of government indoctrination in public "schools", there are some borderline cases, involving children, animals, the mentally incapacitated and seemingly justifiable preemptive aggression scenarios, that make the NAP a harder sell than it needs to be.
Can't all people of good will agree to not go to aggression as a first resort? That's all the RAP requires. Try asking for voluntary contributions to solve a problem, before going straight to taxes and regulations. With the RAP all the borderline cases go away. Anyone who is not willing to adopt the RAP is clearly identifying themselves as someone to be shunned.
We do not expect the RAP to be a major draw to this movement, compared to the silly memetic avalanche we will unleash, but we just thought some of you early potential Founding FOOLs should know where our heads are at.
