SOUL SEARCHING QUESTIONS Part 2
(By Vic Buaquen)
• The two world wars that caused the greatest pain, suffering and sorrow for the greatest number of humans were fomented and caused in the Christian world. It would be interesting to find out what roles has the church played in these terrible world events. Did the church left a finger when the Germans were exterminating the Jews? No it did nothing to help or protect the Jews. Was not the church astride both camps of the two world wars?
• There is a saying that says that should one continue to do what he used to do, then he will continue to get what he used to get. Does this not suggest to man to start getting a closer look on what he was doing and continuing to do and not getting him anywhere?
• Man today has a fairly good idea or concept on what will happen to him in this world and even after he departs from earthly life. Such idea or concept is understandably based on what he knows, he was taught and what he was made to believe. Could it be that man’s knowledge could only be a speck of sand in the world’s vast oceans, in the wholeness of Reality or of that of eternity? Yet because of God’s gift of free will to man,
God could not interfere with what man chooses to believe. Once He does, we automatically become robots and no longer free will entities. Yes, we have to go through the natural consequences of our choices, unhampered by even God. History clearly shows this.
• The Human Genome Project undertaken by a number of participating nations for ten years and ending in 2003 was expected to provide a quantum jump in health, longevity, knowledge and a whole lot of other benefits. It began with exuberance and loud fanfare but ended with hardly a peep. The linear, synaptic and three dimensional thought processes of man can only determine 3% of the functions of our DNA which is very likely multidimensional. Just like Christ ascending into higher multidimensionality from our three dimensional world? This strongly suggests that there is a much greater limitedness and unknowingness of humans. Just like the spectrum of sound we are only capable of hearing a very tiny range of vibrations. Same with colors, we can only see a small range of the infinite varieties and appearances of color. So man struts with the confidence of knowing everything when in the wholeness of Reality, he likely knows next to nothing.
• With such presuppositions, does man’s knowledge and understanding now appear to be the main stumbling blocks to his arriving home to Oneness with God? Is it not time for us to surrender our pretentions, limitedness and unknowingness to God and ask Him to help and guide us to our path to wholeness and oneness with Him? Time to assume LOVE for ourselves and our lives and abandon our self-righteous beliefs and attitudes?
