Now recently I've been watching a few videos on you tube just to get my thought muscles (brain) some much needed exercise. I like hearing that there are a number of possibilities of different reasons we exist. Kurzgesagt and Vsauce3 on you tube bring up a few interesting points in their simulation theory videos. Even gone as far as to say that there could be a 1 in 999,999,999,999 chance that you are REAL or "made of flesh". They also mention the Fermi Paradox which goes hand in hand with what was stated in their videos regarding the simulation argument. Key points I took away from it. Making a program to write code for each thing we experience. Something could really be hollow until we open it. Type 1, 2 &3 Civilizations and the hypothesis, as to what they're capable of, etc. Now first I want to talk about the Kardeshev Scale.
A scale that was designed to show the technological advancements of an intelligent civilization. Type 1 can harness 100% of the energy that reaches the planet from its parent star. We're 75% of the way to becoming that. Type 2 can harness 100% of the energy from its parent star and manipulate the solar system they inhabit. These creatures most likely resemble transformers (Autobots and Decepticons) and they can create large machine structures (Dyson Sphere's) that can absorb the stars energy. Type 3 civilizations can control and manipulate the entire galaxy they inhabit and are so advanced they don't require a physical form to exist, (Lucy at the end of the movie when she hit 100% brain power), to us these creatures seem like Gods, and going off of what I covered in perception, they can quite possibly exist in a form of light or energy we cannot see with our current machines. They can literally be in your room right now and you wouldn't even know it. These beings (not creatures) would be able to create something along the lines of a very large quantum computer also referred to as Matrioshka Brain. A theoretical machine that's similar to a Dyson sphere but its job is to run a simulation of life.
A quantum computer this big can run simulations in the trillions, simultaneously. Multiverse theory anyone? Think about the simulation argument and how its described. Instead of programming each individual thing in advance cells, protons, dark matter, etc. It's programmed as you move along. So its hollow until you open it. The very notion that matter behaves differently when observed in quantum mechanics comes to mind. Could that be proof of a program rendering the environment as you go? Think about games like No Mans Sky (which was a failure), or Minecraft. As you move forward in the game the game renders new background into scene as you move forward. It would explain why those games with massive worlds can fit inside the space each disk would carry. It would be more efficient, and as we all know computers are always about efficiency. So a quantum computer the size of a city or a large star could act as the grounds for simulating life. Now I hate making references to movies unless they bring up some pretty good points. So i'll be mentioning the verbiage from the Matrix trilogy in this piece. So if you remember when Neo went to speak to the Architect which was the AI that created the 1st matrix. He goes on to explaining why the 1st matrix didn't work. Humans were rejecting it. He made it too perfect. No pain or suffering.
Which made the humans realize that the place they existed in was fake or simulated. The oracle was the Second version of the AI which incorporated pain and suffering. He goes on to explaining that it worked. Pain and suffering made humans believe the world they were living in was real. If you think about it the one way you can differentiate from dreams and reality is through pain. We subconsciously and consciously believe that if we experience pain it has to be real. Once we feel it then we're convinced and we don't investigate any further. I had an Idea once. Build an AI, keep it from exploring the internet (which some say is structurally similar to the universe), feed it information regarding what we know about the human body. Then feed it information we have about physics. Then feed it information we have regarding graphene and how we can mass produce it. Once it has learned . Ask it to help us, with finding a way to mass produce graphene (solely for medical purposes) Then ask it to invent a way to connect the human brain correctly to the cyber world.
Make the first steps toward making my own artificial environment so people can live in their own version of "paradise". In order to keep people from becoming psychotic we remove the pain factor. This way when they come back they have something they can use to tell the world they live in is real. Kind of like inception and the spinning top. Then it hit me. In the Kurzgesagt videos they mention that it would be arrogant for us to assume why a type 3 civilization would create a Matrioshka Brain. I say bullocks, I know the answer to that question. Its simple. Think about evolution. The Kardashev scale is basically an evolution chart for intelligent civilizations. The reason we evolve is to survive. So the answer to the reason a type 3 civilization would create a Matrioshka Brain is to survive. If we're currently inside one then this would be like the most advanced version of a virtual reality game ever. Think about it. Like the matrix, you plug yourself in and download your consciousness into a cyber world.
Similar to putting on V-R glasses and holding controllers while standing in a concave dome wearing slippery socks. Now a couple side notes to take into consideration. When they plugged into the Matrix the device was a large needle that seemingly pierced into the center of the brain which just so happens to be where the pineal gland is. An even bigger picture is starting to form now. Especially if you've read my explanation into DMT. Now think about how we play video games. Call of Duty to be exact. Once we reach the top level prestige we have the option to start over from the beginning. People that call themselves "real gamers" tend to accept the challenge of, reaching max prestige several times for bragging rights. Think about a type 3 civilization. They're at the max prestige and can't really go any higher than where they are. They've figured out a way to live forever but even we know that living forever is boring and can drive intelligent creatures to insanity (even the AI which was the Smith virus in the matrix knew this and in turn wanted everything to die). We often say something similar in the affect that we wish we were kids after we become adults. "Being a kid is so simple" , we often say. With age comes growth of the brain and "more space" to hold more information if you think of the human body as being a computer and the brain a hard drive.
More information = more intelligence. So its safe to assume that with age (in some respects, because we've all met some idiot adults) comes intelligence. With intelligence comes responsibility. Sometimes that can become a burden, and some days we find ourselves wishing to be kids again to avoid those responsibilities. It would make sense as to why we're programmed to forget when we "lose a life" in this simulation we call life. We're literally inside a most realistic version of Minecraft. No real mission except to improve yourself as much as you can before you die. Think of this. In the Mario game you move through the level. There's the start (birth) and the Finish (goal). You move through 65% of the level with your character then die. When you lose a life the character inside the game retains no memory of ever completing 65% of a level, otherwise you'd start where you left off from. Instead the character dies and a whole new character body which is identical to the last, is respawned at the start (birth) and you start the level over again. Same as life, if you think about what I mentioned in the DMT portion you can assume that when you're born DMT floods the brain. Your consciousness enters the vessel, which is identical to the last one. You live your life (traversing the game level) and you die at 75. DMT floods the brain again and the consciousness is removed and placed into a new body so you can go again. The checkpoint system in a game (start where you left off) is the time in which you die. For instance if I die tomorrow my DMT will flood my brain, my immortal consciousness is placed into another body whilst my memory is erased so i can start anew tomorrow. The similarities are strikingly similar and it makes you think. Maybe just maybe this is a game. Now another reference to the matrix movie is the character Cypher.
Remember he wished he took the blue pill? Ignorance is bliss as they say. He wanted his memory of the real world erased. He said he knew the steak he was eating was fake but it was better than eating slop and fighting machines. He wanted a simple life. Even though its full of the same stuff life has within it, it's still better to live in ignorance. Maybe a type 3 civilization created an AI to keep the Matrioshka Brain in good working order while the inhabitants of that advanced civilization entered the simulation. After all, there are only 16 different personality types and only 12 different zodiac signs. When entering a game(simulation) as the all knowing entity it would be more exciting to start from the beginning. Single cells then eventually work your way up. A simulation of evolution and life as it was in the past. Probably why the beings people see when they smoke DMT mention missions or ask "how was it in there". But these type 3 civilization entities could have also created this Matrioshka Brain to survive forever. Maybe consciousness isn't forever on the outside, maybe they're running from the end of the universe and created this machine. Its like a hyperbolic time chamber (DBZ reference). Since time feels different when DMT is involved. When you dream at night. The dream you were having ALL NIGHT was actually only the last 5-10 minutes of your dream. Or the fact that when some people smoke other chemicals they lived an entire life in an (alternate reality) and when they died they woke up on the couch.
The DMT trip is said to only last 15 minutes when smoked yet it feels like 3 hours. Time is different. It lasts longer inside the Matrioshka Brain i would assume. Which means that if one were to be created around a star that had a life span of 1 billion years than to us inside the machine it would be forever or infinite. All of this is just food for thought though. Take it how you want. This is only my interpretation of what others have said put together with similarities of other things mixed in. Even though I make a lot of movie references you have to admit, it does make sense.
