We are basically living in a world constructed with ambiguity. Is our lives deterministic or do we have free will? Are there any objective truths or everything is interpretation of different perspectives? Are we created by an entity or laws of Abiogenesis?
I think Skepticism is holding us back because we are creating our world via interpretation by our consciousness.
Have you ever heard of observer effect in Physics?
To see an electron, a photon must first interact with it. By this interaction you will be changing that electron's path.Basically you are creating a new paradigm for that electron to observe it and we can conclude that this measurement directly influenced the way Universe behaves.
I am imagining that changing behaviour of the Universe by measuring particles works in the same way with our world perception. If our consciousness can affect the Universe whatever we truly believe in become real for our own surroundings. If you believe in God, you will be creating God and there is an afterlife for you when you die. In contrast if you are an Atheist there will be no God for you and your body will decoy into soil and your consciousness will not be existing anymore. Et cetera.
