What is analytical thinking and how to develop it?

in philosophy •  7 years ago

Each of us in its own way is individual and, due to personal characteristics, gravitates toward a specific type of thinking. Such predispositions are very easy to determine, because they are manifested in behavior, strategy of action, world perception, attitude to what is happening and people around.

What is analytical thinking?
First of all, we note that the analytical type of thinking is closely related to the logical one. Quite often, even though this is not entirely true, analytical and logical thinking identifies: the difference between them is the topic of another article, but note that the former is responsible for analyzing the data obtained, comparing them, etc., and the second is based on search and establishment of cause-effect relationships.

The principle of the work of analytical thinking is based on two basic processes:

Creative process, accompanied by the search for new knowledge and information;
Formal process, accompanied by analysis and synthesis of data, as well as conclusions and consolidation of the final result in consciousness.
