"The Shadow of Death" en español "La sombra de la muerte"

In the story of Peter Pan,

The boy Peter never grew old,
He was a
Boy Forever;
He also did not have a shadow.

I had a brief bit of
Inspiration this morning,
And wrote it down.

My friend and I were
Talking about aging.
He said he:
Characterized aging as
"Mortality's shadow, growing ever
Larger on the existential wall."

I countered that perhaps age was a
"Shadow that is long when we are born,
Growing shorter each day, until we
Reach the apex of our physical
Existence"
.

Then when you
Stand at the noon of your
Life; you have no shadow.
Life and death meet at that point;
You pass from this world into
Whatever comes next.

En la historia de Peter Pan,

El chico Peter nunca envejeció,
El era un
El juventud para siempre;

Existencia"
.

Entonces cuando
Te paras al mediodía de su
Vida; no tienes sombra
La vida y la muerte se encuentran en ese punto;
Pasas de este mundo a
Lo que viene después
