In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God. Nothing is created without the word. This means light (good) and darkness (evil) was created by God. "Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen" Roman 11:36. This means that, good and evil exits to glorify God. The universe is created by one power, so if there is evil in this universe, then it means that, the power that created good, created evil.
Why should God create Evil?
Well, only God knows why. But to my basic understanding, existence of evil is to compete good. Without darkness, what is the need of light? Then with evil, we will know good. Evil manifest to the glory of God as it compete good. Light shines best in darkness.
Why Evil?
Evil to my understanding is an instrument to measure good. Light express its brightness in darkness. Light become necessity in a place of darkness.
Why should human suffer for evil?
God is all knowing, so i can't be convinced that He didn't know the effects of evil on His creatures. Well, we suffer evil by choice, i think. Because God gave us a will power to choose between the good and evil. And so therefore, whoever choose good have automatically wear a live jacket and good follow him and vice versa. The law of Karma manifest in our choice. Am convinced that, the race of human is a trial of souls, the ability to withstand evil and the good use of will power.
Also, the salvation of souls is clear implications that, human souls are on trial. God knows best and He knows what he is doing.
In a nut shell, humans are the ball in tennis and God is the side of both good and evil. So is our choice to jump to the good or evil. Do not forget that, is one power that creates both good and evil. Do not concentrate much on evil because, you can not do without it. Evil is a test instrument and to test the good in us. Make a good choice and fear no evil. Do not waste time praying to kill evil but spend time to pray for strength to stand against it. Much Love.
