In his books Nietzsche indirectly says that the goal of every man is to overcome himself in a way that he can be the best version of himself. His states that suffering/pain his necessary for grow and the only way to grow is to put ourselves in a situation of suffering and overcome it.

Isn't Nietzsches ideal a masochist who makes himself suffer so he can grow?
And isn't a sadist a good men because he helps others to grow ? :)

He also said this long before paxil zoloft and zanax. People these days will never be stronger, they're too detached from their reality.

Nice quote

Nietzsche ideas are very deep and hard to understanding. This is why in the social media we can see so many distorce views about his ideas. However e has a genius. If someone wants to know him better i recommend the book "thus spake zarathustra"
