Jeremy Bentham is an English philosopher and political radical. Essentially, he is now known as a moral philosopher. He advocated a moral understanding that evaluates such actions based on the results as having a moral understanding categorized as utilitarianism.

He was influenced by John Locke in terms of ideas and influenced Stuart Mill as well. Bentham, who tried to influence the political future of the American continent in particular, pioneered political and social reforms during his lifetime. In particular, his ideas on criminal law drew attention.

Now let's come to why I chose this idea guy as a topic. Like every mortal, when the order of our Lord arrived onto earth he tread he trodden and he passed away , in short, when he died in 1832, he had made a special testament for the separation and protection of many parts of his body. His skeleton would sit on a chair in an upright position, sitting under a sign that reads "Auto-Icon" , and would have a black suit on him which he wore frequently. Below you can see his head lying at his feet.

As for the will, the body was exposed to the public for more than 150 years, in a glass partition at University College London. However, the head of the corpse was cut off since the viewer would not like because of it nasty situation, which was result of an error in the embalming process, so it was stored in a safe and still there it is. It is checked once a year whether the hair and skin are in place.

Note.1: The severed head was stolen by university students in 1975 to solicit a 100 pounds ransom. Fortunately, the university administration found 100 pounds much and managed to get it back giving only 10 pounds.

Note.2: By the way, Bentham was an atheist.
