During the Žižek-Peterson debate, they discuss Rule 6 of Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life: Set your house in order before you criticize the world. Žižek challenges Peterson as to whether this rule would apply to people in countries like North Korea, who inhabit a world that is deeply toxic to human flourishing.

Here we tackle the question ourselves, analyzing Peterson’s answer and discussing whether an individualistic approach might still be relevant in tackling the great issues of the world.
