Why taxation is even worse than theft

in philosophy •  7 years ago

Many services are available only because a majority of their running costs are supported by taxes. However, there are many things the government dabbles in that are not to our collective interest and should not be funded through public money.

This is the fallacy of democracy. The rule of the many is a delusion orchestrated by those capable of filtering information to the masses. The rule of the many is also a short-term rule for it leads only to self-destruction. Representative democracy as we have today is itself an illusion. Social justice too an overall detrimental movement. Who would you rather have at the helm of the ship?

There is no clear answer when a country is composed by millions of individuals of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

Maybe anarcho-syndicalism, who knows?
