Discipline Not Only Faith; Unfold Society.

It has gone beyond certain scope of understanding and reasoning when people consider certain group of people or individuals as angels and that they should not miss certain standard marks in society. The words saint, pious, holy, man of God and woman of God are attributed to them by society and for that matter the same society thinks they have grown beyond breaking rules or should be living in one way or the other to the titles accorded to them. Society thinks they are masters over sin and should never violate any law, do something something questionable.

This is rather unfortunate. They are humans like we all and have certain weaknesses as we do have. They all struggle to live as others do. Your ability to control yourself and escape one temptation, sin, sexual seduction or any activity frown at by society does not make you a masters of sin. Bearing such titles does not take you from temptation, sinning, falling or doesn't change from being human neither shall you live in/on different plane.

In the absence of law, there is no sin or law breakers. In the same vein, few number of rules or laws would be easily lived by than being occupied with large number or strict rules or laws. The ambiguity embedded in such rules is always enough to break the feet of the people down. The expectations by society from them are very high. It means that much attention has been given to these individuals or people and more is then expected of them.

However, I am with the opinion that inasmuch as society expects more good from them, their lapses too would be many. They will fall and rise. People need to understand this, they are humans and have their weaknesses too. I am not preaching continuous violation of society standards but I think society has gotten it wrong: when she thinks they are sin free because they bear divine titles, when society thinks such are pious and angels and are more closer to God than any other hence the snare of sin is broken from them or their emotions ceased to exist. Society should reconsider the meanings again and accept that bearing a title does not necessarily make you such title.

The misunderstanding of the subject has now corrupted the minds of many in society. Now many in society think it simple and not offensive to sleep with his or neighbours wife or husband because a pastor or an imam has done it before. What is wrong if a member of the church has affairs with the ladies or the guys in the church?
These misfortunes are happening today because society has used or taken the religious leaders as angels, gods, saints, holy ones or saviours but they have failed society. Society is now confused of which way to go.

The best advisors are the best victims of the same advice today in society. Society has recorded high number of incidence where marriage counsellors have their marriages broken in the law court. Some assaulted their partners, children and homes fallen apart in their hands before their very eyes. It is not uncommon to hear judges and lawyers taking bribes and yet interpret the law in their favor. Pastors engaging in all manner of dirty rituals, sleeping with women other than their wives. There are many of this kind. Are these not anomalies? This is why I argue that much attention should not be given to them as though they are gods or pious or saints. I don't mean disrespect them.

My ideas seem contradicting but, they are not. I want to express that there are two sides of knowledge. These are :

1. Knowing and believing the knowledge
2. Living the faith or knowledge.

The latter is my concern and it is the difficult part. At these level hills leveled to flat lands, kings fall, straight roads become crooked. Not neglecting the fact that kings rise, the poor becomes rich, the weak becomes strong, flat lands form hills. That is the power of this level. There is no luck at this level. It is discipline that matter and not faith. Without discipline faith avails nothing because without the former the latter stands on weak foundation. There are cases where some women broke up their marriages because of advice from public figures spearheading women movements. Guess what. These women became disappointed and foolish on their own eyes after such a public got married. Learn but do not over learn. Be humble but do not be weak and finally be obedient but do not be foolish.
