Yugen - Word of the Day

The Japanese word "Yugen" (幽玄) or sometimes written in English as Yuugen which is apparently the correct spelling according to other Scholars. Yugen (幽玄) is a word or term which is used in Japanese Aesthetics and Philosophy, It's meaning and translation in to English is said to differ depending on the context in which it is used. Some English words that have been used to describe it's meaning are "deep", "spiritual", "mystical", "mysterious", Yugen is an experience and not a thing, actually it is an awareness... it can be translated as (profound grace and subtlety) it has also been previously mentioned in the book "They have a word for it" described and translated as "The awareness of the universe that triggers feelings too deep and mysterious for words". I suppose it is the knowing that the Universe is always in motion, always creating and showing it's beauty in a never ending cosmic sea of creation and infinite intelligence in multiple ways and in multiple dimensions, the awareness of synchronicity, life changing events and spiritual awakening, 5D awareness could also be described as Yugen.

I don't think there is any limit as to what you can learn in terms of physical, mental and spiritual development, The world is so diverse in terms of culture, tradition, religion and language, yet if we only take some time to stop, look and ponder at the immense beauty and wisdom that lies within all worldly creations, cultures and diversity we can begin to understand more; and thus ultimately broaden our perspective and duties as citizens and stewards of the earth, as infinite divine beings and creators, as part of the whole earth and not just a cog in the wheel of life, belonging only to this or that belief system, existing only to pay bills and meet regular demands placed on us by society.

I encourage you to explore the diversity and beauty that often remains hidden in all of our worldly cultures & traditions. I find it inspiring and often uplifting to learn and explore the many different cultures and belief systems this wonderful world has to offer. I've found great wisdom in many of them and continue on my journey of self discovery and personal development through further education, ancient wisdom and spiritual practices. The key to it all is to have an open mind.
