What is Pataphysics?

"Time is what prevents everything from happening at once." - Albert Einstein

Pataphysics?

Physics melts into Metaphysics, which transcends into a unknown world called 'Pataphysics'. But what does this "new" world mean, and does it even have a definition?

Hoping that time will reveal this answer, Wikipedia defines it as "the science of that which is superinduced upon metaphysics..." Hmmm, what on earth does that mean? I guess it's similar to when a president is replaced by a new president, or am I wrong? But how on earth are definitions replaced by new "meanings"; it negates the whole concept of meaning.

What are your views on the subject of meaning, and what is Pataphysics?

'Pataphysics is a concept expressed by Alfred Jarry in a mock-scientific manner with undertones of spoofing and quackery"
