Indian Civil war
August 14, 2017
Hii steemians!
It's me again. This time I'm here to write about a matter which is now a growing concern for the country.Cold civil war.If you were not sleeping in History class you must be knowing about both the American civil war(not the Marvel's one) and also about the cold war.I'll not bore you,but let me just put light on these two again. As you know, during American Civil war(please come out of Marvel universe),there was fighting between the North and the South in which the North finally won. This war waged due to the differences in ideologies between the two sides. And in cold war, war like tension lingered in the air between USSR and USA.But what we are facing in India now is a situation which is in between cold war and civil war. I guess you will give some minutes of time from your Busy schedule to go through this.
Well to begin, first of all Happy belated Independence day everyone. Congratulations that we have completed 70 years of political independence. We Indians lack a certain perspective. You know what is that?We know how to demand things, but we don't know how to utilise them and then there is a lot of chaos and confusion over all things. It's the same in this case also.We kept on demanding freedom for nearly 150 years but when we finally got freedom,we don't know how to utilise it. Surprised?Just look around yourself. People misutilise freedom everywhere. They demand for freedom of speech but then give controversial speeches and create riots across the country. People ask for freedom of broadcasting and then create controversial serials like Pehredar Pia ki.So let's get back to the topic.
Cold civil war. What's going on in this country is cold civil war. People are demanding for new states, state flags, to separate the country. Then there are some people who want to create rift between religions in many ways. And people are defending their political parties in such a way that it's even greater than their country. When we need unity the most,we are divided into many groups and keep on doing so.Not one, many cold civil wars are waging within the country at this time. From river disputes to boundary disputes, due to arrest of a politician or goon, due to killing of innocent persons or terrorists, due to even due to posts on social networking sites and even disputes over 'sweet' , just look around you;civil war is waging everywhere.
Let's start from the top of the country. If you are aware of the news in some or other way, the Kashmir issue must be known to you.The killing of a terrorist is causing havoc in the valley for more than a year and no one can find a solution to stop it.And it's really a surprise that Government is spending so much money on the people who are masterminds behind these attacks and are now sitting on their homes, watching the people fight. The Heaven on Earth has been turned into hell due to the riots. Everyday we hear about police trying to maintain peace and decorum but failing. It's turning into a fatal problem and the riots seem to end in unpredictable time. No one seems to pay major attention towards it.
The political feuds and riots all across the country are well known by all.If you're not aware of the facts and you think that the political parties are in peace with each other, then I fear you'll have to miss your favourite TV shows and switch on any news channel at 9pm.I assure you'll be more entertained than you'd be by watching your favourite serials.Every day new ministers are accumulated into the parties, some or other ministers are charged with corruption or other charges, black flag is waved at some ministers, a new political party is formed and many wierd things keep on happening. If you think these political feuds and game of thrones is too weak and mere to be considered as beginning of Civil war, I'd prefer go back in time, read Class X history book properly. How else do you think India got separated? How else do you think that still some people are fighting for separate states? Delhi is the political capital of India;but now is more famous for you-know-what cases.A year ago, Delhi was in the news when some students at JNU spoke anti-national things and gave anti-national remarks, thus putting a question as to whether Freedom of speech be banned or not.And surprisingly, many students stood up and supported them in these. Had they been enraged, don't you think Civil war would had started?
India is a country of bans. From movies, beefs, books to even jokes, ours is a country where everything is banned. Let's talk about beef ban in India. India is a country where people of all religions live. Ok,beef ban will not affect the Hindus, but what about the Muslims. Will they not protest telling that they are not given the rights? If you want to ban something, then ban it whole. If you are so concerned about animals, ban nonveg and meat as a whole.
Moving down, some persons calling themselves 'Gau rakshas' killed and attacked many innocent Dalits in Gujurat, again causing riots, protests and thus again civil war. Then few months back, the quota war also took troll over India. First of all,why these reservations? If all are equal then why reservations according to caste? Give it to the deserved instead of giving it to the reserved.
We also have inter-religious riots and protests going in the country at many many times which gradually turn into Civil wars. Even today also, some persons protest for new states. Now it has became a new fashion-protest over something, make the matter as big as it can be and then riots will follow and your city/state will be in spotlight so that the politicians will get a new topic for debate and a person can leave from his workplace and children will get holidays from school.
Maybe,India is the only country where interstate Civil wars are going on. If given a chance, civil war will break out in India. Someone has just to provide that spark. Even though it is not officially declared, civil war is waging in the country since a very long time. Let's accept the fact that we cannot stay together but we have to because we are all Indians. So let's be united and stop this cold civil war. And yes, happy Independence day. Let's learn to use our Independence in the correct way
